Established in July 2010, the Society of Farm Safety Nova Scotia is a not–for–profit organization dedicated to advancing workplace health and safety within the Nova Scotia agricultural industry.  FSNS is a farmer driven initiative, with a membership consisting of registered farm members of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture.

“The mission of Farm Safety Nova Scotia is to achieve safe farming, safe families and safe employees by supporting the establishment of a culture of health and safety within our farming community through advocacy, awareness, and training & education.”


Farm Safety Nova Scotia focuses its efforts on three main areas:
