OHS Legislation

The Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations applies to all workplaces in Nova Scotia, including farming operations.  The purpose of the Act is to improve workplace health and safety in Nova Scotia.  The Occupational Health and Safety Act has been in effect since 1996.
